Someday

Someday, BELIEVE that there would be someone out there who would like you and your ENTIRETY. You would not need to guess, assume, and wonder if he's the ONE; because he would like you so much that he would be willing to take the RISK to let you know just that. God may have led you to believe that certain people who came into your life were the one, but the truth is He was only letting you feel and realize that just because you like someone and that someone likes you back doesn't mean that he would be the one that God has planned for you to be with.

Have you been hurt? Have you felt pain? That's only because God is telling you that the one he has prepared for you will NEVER EVER BREAK YOUR HEART. That person would understand how precious your heart is, and that he would be very lucky once you open it for him. He would appreciate your uniqueness, your individuality, and the fact that you are a bit crazy. He would appreciate the fact that you may not be the most beautiful girl in the world, but for him you are more than enough. He would be proud to have you in his life because he knows that you are one-of-a-kind. You would never be jealous, because he would never give you any reason to. You would never feel insecure, because he would assure you everyday just how amazing you are. He would love each and every person in your life, because he knows how much it would mean to you. Your love would NEVER be PERFECT, you would have shortcomings, and conflicts; but at the end of the day, you would both fight to make it work because you know that your LOVE is ONE-IN-A-MILLION.  So be patient, and just believe that your story would be so EPIC that it would be WORTH SHARING WITH THE WORLD AND would be WORTH WAITING FOR.

-- I know that this kind of Love may be too Idealistic and Unreal; it may not even exist. But I do believe that someday it would happen for me. God is making me wait because he wants to be sure that I am whole and complete before I open my heart to someone. He knows that I cannot handle heartaches so He is also preparing my someone to be the best that he can possibly be so that he would never ever break my heart.  He is making me realize that I don't need someone to complete me because the one He would give me is a better whole which would complement another better whole.

Keep Going

There are things that I don't have and maybe would NEVER EVER HAVE in this lifetime. But if you would ask me now how I look at my life, I'd say: I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

This really sums up how I feel right now. Maybe it's also a part of growing up: Accepting the things that we can't change. After the many things that have happened in my life, I can definitely say that these experiences really did make me stronger. Gone are the days when I would dwell on things which have already happened; because now, I've learned to just move on, continue living, just pray, and to always keep the faith. Food for thought! Hahaha! Goodnight!

Land of the Morning Calm: Korea 2012 Day 3 (Part 1)

This is it!!! I'm finally Masipag!! Actually, I'm thankful to the blogger app for iphone/ipad because now, I can finally create posts even if I'm on-the-go!

So anyway, I'm now on our Third Day! Yay! I will be posting two parts for this day since it was a Long
One! Hehe! Here's Part ONE:

On our Third day, we've decided to just stroll around the city. We've started our day early and first went to Gyeongbokgung Palace. You can take the train in going here since it's literally in the middle of the city, with it's own station. One of the things that we love when travelling in a foreign country is the fact that we can actually take the public transportation, which we don't get to do in the Philippines.

There are a lot of Palace around Seoul,so you have to choose the ones that you would like to explore. As for us, we were torn between Gyeongbokgung (The Largest Palace)  and Changdeokgung Palace (The one with a secret garden). However, we chose Gyeongbokgung since it holds more history.

(Trivia: It was in Gyeongbokgung where the first source of Electricity in Korea was generated via the big  Hall located inside the Palace. This was also where the Royals held their parties before; will show you the pics later)

We strolled around the palace; but since it was already our second time (my mom, dad, sister, and I) we just took a rest, and let my brother and sister-in-law to roam around hehe. It was really a perfect day to just sit down and enjoy the cold weather. It was not really full-time spring yet when we came, so there were not too many cherry blossoms this time as compared to our first visit. But still, the palace looked great and it was just really the perfect day!  Here are the pics from palace:

( if you want to see the change of palace guards, go to gyeongbokgung around noon or before noon hehe)

( the hall behind us is the one that I mentioned above, which is the first source of electricity in Seoul)

( feeling part of a tour hehe)

Will post the second part of this post asap! Haha!

Land of the Morning Calm: Korea 2012 Day 2

When I say Long Overdue, What I really mean is LOOONNNGGGG Overdue hahaha! This trip was way back last March 2012 and I'm only posting it right now. Oh well, better late than never!

On our second day in Korea, we've decided to visit another amusement park. We went to Lotte World on our first day; and the next day it's EVERLAND, BABY! Hahaha! Everland is located in Yongin just around 40 minutes to an hour away from Seoul, depending on the traffic.

My mom had been here for 3 times already, as for me, my sister, and my dad, it's only our second. But it's the first time for my brother, sister-in-law, and my cutie patootie nephew.

In 2011, our good friend Mr. Shin, gladly brought us here via his own car. This time, we've decided to go on our own so as to not bother him anymore. Anyway, in going here, you can actually take a bus (there are several bus stops going to yongin around the city, usually near the hotels too). We rented our own limousine taxi in going to yongin since we have a two-year-old with us; but it really is more practical if you'd just take a bus. ( the transportation system in korea is very convenient anyway).

Everland is a seasonal theme park; meaning, the theme in here varies depending on the season. During the two times that we've been here, it is always Spring; and I wouldn't have it any other way. The scenery is just beautiful, with different kinds of flowers in full bloom; the weather is perfect too, it's sunny but it's cold ( the perfect weather to just stroll).

For kids and kids-at-heart ( like us hehe), Everland is the perfect place to be. There are several rides, food carts, souvenir shops, parades, and other scheduled performances around the park. If you would go here, I would recommend you to spare the whole day. Firstly, because the park is so nice and relaxing and big that you would want to savor every second that you're there. Secondly, it's a nice experience to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thirdly ( and most importantly), the ticket is a bit pricey so be sure to really make the most out of your visit hahaha!

Here are the pics from this trip:

(Inside the limo taxi)

Enjoy!! And really try to put Seoul in your list of "places-to-visit"

Christmas 2011: ZOOBIC

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Oh my Goodness! I can't believe I'm only posting this now...Anyway,So my family only go to the same places every yuletide season. Actually, It's only either Baguio City or Subic; and last 2011, SUBIC WON! However, this year, we only went there for a day just so the family will be able to go out of town just like what we are used to every year.
We've decided to go to Zoobic just like in 2010.

The travel time from our place to Subic is only around 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours. We left at 5am and arrived there at around 7 or 8 in the morning. We first had breakfast, then proceeded to Zoobic just as planned.

When you get inside Zoobic Safari, you will first be having a group picture which will be taken FOR FREE; but the PICTURE, you have to pay. Hahaha! After that, you will be grouped according to the people that you're with (We were called the"Althemar" Group..hehe...). You will have an orientation, and after that the walking tour (which  would take up around 2 hours)would then begin.

When we went there last year, the animals were sort of placed differently. They must have re-arranged the animals already.
Here are the pics! =)

After the first part of the tour, the next part would be the TIGER SAFARI, where you will ride in a caged jeepney and enter in a close-fenced area where tigers are freely roaming around. You will be given a choice to ride the TRAM (fee is 50 peses per person), or you can also bring your own car. (We've decided to ride in our own car ). You will ride in a jeepney either containing only your group (when you are many) or be joined by another group. You will be asked if you would like to have the tiger fed with a chicken which would cost 200php. The thrill this time, by the way, was not as much as  the last time we were there. Probably because this time, we already know what would happen, and the tigers were a bit tamed (probably because they have already been fed).

 (Hey Tiger)

 (Tiger on the roof!)

(Oxie cried beacuse he said that he wanted to ride the "train"; so he and his nanay got to ride on it on the way back..and for free! hahaha!)

After the Tiger Safari, the next is the Aetas Trail, where the natives will be performing their tribal dance. Okay, a little spoiler: they will have a "surprising" performance, which again did not surprise us that much anymore. But nevertheless, the aetas were very great! =)

(Oxie watching the aetas)

 (Kuya Rudy)

The last part is the Croco Loco part, where you can also feed the crocodiles. They are very strong by the way! whew! WILD!

That wraps up my post about my Christmas last year. Christmas is definitely the season to be JOLLY and HAPPY...Advance Merry Christmas Everyone! =)
