Christmas 2011: ZOOBIC

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Oh my Goodness! I can't believe I'm only posting this now...Anyway,So my family only go to the same places every yuletide season. Actually, It's only either Baguio City or Subic; and last 2011, SUBIC WON! However, this year, we only went there for a day just so the family will be able to go out of town just like what we are used to every year.
We've decided to go to Zoobic just like in 2010.

The travel time from our place to Subic is only around 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours. We left at 5am and arrived there at around 7 or 8 in the morning. We first had breakfast, then proceeded to Zoobic just as planned.

When you get inside Zoobic Safari, you will first be having a group picture which will be taken FOR FREE; but the PICTURE, you have to pay. Hahaha! After that, you will be grouped according to the people that you're with (We were called the"Althemar" Group..hehe...). You will have an orientation, and after that the walking tour (which  would take up around 2 hours)would then begin.

When we went there last year, the animals were sort of placed differently. They must have re-arranged the animals already.
Here are the pics! =)

After the first part of the tour, the next part would be the TIGER SAFARI, where you will ride in a caged jeepney and enter in a close-fenced area where tigers are freely roaming around. You will be given a choice to ride the TRAM (fee is 50 peses per person), or you can also bring your own car. (We've decided to ride in our own car ). You will ride in a jeepney either containing only your group (when you are many) or be joined by another group. You will be asked if you would like to have the tiger fed with a chicken which would cost 200php. The thrill this time, by the way, was not as much as  the last time we were there. Probably because this time, we already know what would happen, and the tigers were a bit tamed (probably because they have already been fed).

 (Tiger on the roof!)

(Oxie cried beacuse he said that he wanted to ride the "train"; so he and his nanay got to ride on it on the way back..and for free! hahaha!)

After the Tiger Safari, the next is the Aetas Trail, where the natives will be performing their tribal dance. Okay, a little spoiler: they will have a "surprising" performance, which again did not surprise us that much anymore. But nevertheless, the aetas were very great! =)

The last part is the Croco Loco part, where you can also feed the crocodiles. They are very strong by the way! whew! WILD!

That wraps up my post about my Christmas last year. Christmas is definitely the season to be JOLLY and HAPPY...Advance Merry Christmas Everyone! =)

My TOP 11 of 2011

Just before 2011 ends, I would like to make a countdown of the TOP 11 EVENTS that made a mark in my year.

Here it goes:

COLLEGE GRADUATION BALL (March 5, 2011)

The one night when all of my college block mates and batch mates all dressed up! Such a fun night! I think this was also the first time when I stayed out until 1 in the morning! haha! Okay, don't judge me! I am not a kill-joy; it just so happen that I tend to get bored easily when I'm out. hahaha!

BOGSIE'S DESPEDIDA (April 13,2011)

The day when my good friend Bogs (aka Djoanne Rabang.hahaha!) had her despedida. She left for the States days after the Graduation; and on this day, we practically reminisced the old times in our beloved school. This day was very fun and sad at the same time. I went home crying that night! I will always miss Bogs! And I still hope to see her again in the near future!

SEOUL KOREA TRIP 2011 (April 18-24, 2011)

Had a seven-day trip to Seoul, South Korea as my sister's and my Graduation gift from Mom and Dad. My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew were not able to join us in this trip because they did not want to. Anyway, there's always NEXT TIME. For sure! haha!

I've made posts dedicated exclusively for this trip

The wedding of my sister's friend at Balay Indang, Cavite. A family affair!
I'm a proud tita! Oxie really walked on the aisle ON HIS OWN! He really liked the attention everyone was giving him that day. Hahaha! I love OXIE! =)
By the way, these pics are only the "rehearsal" pics which I took minutes before the actual wedding march began. Yup, he even practiced!haha! So smart! And take note, HE'S ONLY TWO YEARS OLD!

Christmas Trip 2011 (December 26,2011)

After nearly 7 years, this Christmas was the first one which we got to spend at home. But still, we tried to really make time to have our annual Christmas trip; although Christmas already passed.
Every year, I always look forward to where we are going for Christmas! Actually it's only either Baguio or Subic. And this year, SUBIC WON! We went here on the 26th and spent the entire day at ZOObic where we got to see different animals, and had a first-hand encounter with them! Oxford fed a lot of animals!haha! It was indeed a FUN DAY with the family as usual.

Seeing all these pictures made me really realize how AWESOME my 2011 really was. A lot of things happened; EXPECTED and UNEXPECTED ones. It was indeed a ROLLER COASTER RIDE for me. Three days to go before 2011 ends; and I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO WELCOME THE YEAR 2012.

ADVANCE HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Korea (Day 5)

Yay! I'm now on my 5th day! 2 more days and my Korea Trip post would finally be complete!hahaha!!

On our fifth day, we've decided to just chill around Seoul. This was actually one of the things that made our trip so relaxing; the fact that we have an entire week to do practically whatever we want. We can wake up late, stay up late, eat all we want, and shop all we want! In Korea too, we get to commute, which was really fun! It was a unique experience for me, and I really soaked up every moment that I get to ride the train, and the taxi! Hahaha!

So anyway, we started our day by eating a lot! Our hotel had a breakfast buffet, and we really enjoyed the food! It was not "class A", but it was really decent enough to make your stomach happy haha! It was an american breakfast, and they pretty much served "fattening" foods hahaha!

We've also decided to go to Lotte World on this day. My dad have been there before when he went to Korea himself, and he got to try  the different "rides" in the amusement park. When we went there though, we were not able to try it since we were already so tired. We just went there to shop for a bit, and tour the place. Nothing too much special though; except that they had a department store that is eight stories high! amazing huh? Oh and there were many Koreanovelas that were shot in this place. The most famous one would be "Stairway to Heaven" (click HERE to see the other filming locations). "Full House" was also shot in here, in the skating rink specifically.

Here are the pictures we took that Day:
