Korea (Day 4)

Now that it's my Semestral Break in Law School, I have decided to finally make a complete seven posts of my seven-day Korea trip Last Spring.

Day FOUR, here We Go!!

Our Fourth Day in Korea was mostly spent Shopping around Seoul; and we went around unaccompanied by our Korean Friend. First, we went around Dongdaemun since our hotel room was in Dongdaemun, and was literally beside the famous shopping malls (DOOTA, Hellp apm, Migliore, Goodmorning city). By the way, shopping malls in Korea are closed on Mondays. But when it opens, it stays open up until 5 o'clock in the morning.

We had breakfast at Lotteria, a Korean Fast Food Chain where you can eat korean foods in "fastfood" form (cool huh?). On this day too, we have decided to experience the famous "NAMDAEMUN" market of Korea. In the Philippines, I believe this is equivalent to our "DIVISORIA" market. Anyway, in here, you will find a lot of cheap stuff, which are sold sometimes in wholesale prices. You just have to be prepared to   "MINGLE" with the crowd, and be pushed and shoved a lot. I cannot say that I enjoyed the experience ENTIRELY; but still, it was fun to buy souvenir stuff at a low price. My mom and my dad enjoyed buying stuff in here, and ended up going back to the hotel with tons of shopping bags in tow. I wasn't able to take much picture in Namdaemun since it is not really a place for souvenir picture taking, but here are some of our pics on that Day.

The view from our Hotel Room

Shopping at Goodmorning City (We practically bought all the clothes that we wore on that trip in the shopping malls around the hotel since my mom believes in Travelling Lightly..hehe)

This is the Order-timing-machine-thingy whatever that is called. Anyway, it lights up when your order is ready. Amazing!

Bulgogi Burger!

  The Streets of Namdaemun

Me and Dad out and about on the streets of Dongdaemun (at night..yup, we were shopping the whole day hahaha!)

Another order-machine-thingy hahaha!

The owner of a Korean Store in DOOTA whom we got so fond of..Their family was so nice to us that we really went back in their store to buy more stuff! With discount, too..haha!

So that concludes our Fourth Day in Korea! Happy Shopping! hahaha!
